To understand and to be understood...
Two key elements of effective human communication but very rarely is it actually achieved. We hide behind false truths of "truth me" and "have faith in me" or "believe me" all because we cannot seem to understand or you the person in question is failing to be understood!
Such simple statements yet soo hard to achieve. We the human which claim dominion over everything that is earthly and some try extend that same reach to that of a God but cannot get the basic fundamentals of communication: to understand and to be understood!
Relationships crumbles, bonds become severed and in the process, self worth, esteem and confidence are all either lost or diminished.
WHY!?
Instead of saying trust me, GIVE me the reason to trust you! Note, i said GIVE! Trust is meant to be something blatantly and bluntly earned! Trust is not something I have to look for in someone or investigate to get reasons as to why I should trust someone! Give that person a reason to you! You need to hide or to be "fake". Wear your heart on your sleeve once in a while and surely communication can be repaired.
To understand and to be understood...
Instead of saying believe me and have a little faith in me, show that the person has a reason to do it in the first place. Such statements need not be uttered but need be acted. They need to be manifested in a persons reaction not asked for manifestation! Simple odes may yet stay unanswered because of lack of actions on poets part!
To understand and to be understood...
Take time... Listen... Learn... Then act! Simple measures that if taken, avoid great casualties!
